Reelscap (the "App") is designed with privacy as the default. This policy explains what the App does — and does not — do with your data.

What We Collect

Nothing. Reelscap does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on any server.

How the App Works

Reelscap receives screen-recording frames from iOS via the ReplayKit Broadcast Upload Extension that you explicitly start from Control Center. Those frames are:

• Written temporarily to your device's App Group container.
• Stitched locally, on-device, into a single long screenshot.
• Saved to your Photos library (only when you choose "Save") or discarded.

At no point does the App send your recording, the stitched output, or any metadata about your usage over the network.

In-App Purchases

Reelscap offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase that removes the branding watermark from exported images. Transactions are processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit; we receive only the boolean fact that you own the unlock. No payment details, billing address, or purchase history leaves Apple's systems through us.

Photo Library Access

When you save a stitched long screenshot, iOS requests permission to add the image to your Photos library. The App only writes — it never reads existing photos. Import via the Photos picker is explicitly user-initiated; selected images stay on-device.

Analytics & Tracking

The App contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party frameworks that phone home. There are no tracking identifiers, no behavioral profiles, no crash reporters beyond Apple's standard opt-in system diagnostics.

Children

The App is rated 4+ and is safe for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone of any age because we do not collect information at all.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. The App will not start collecting data without a conspicuous in-app notice and updated policy.
